SeamlessWebber of the Week: Ali

Every Thursday, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us all about how he or she uses the site. If you pay close attention here you just might learn something. This week we have Ali, an avid user who is looking for the best wedges with sour cream and sweet chili this side of Sydney.

SeamlessWebber of the Week - Ali

Name: Ali

Age: 24

Occupation: Advertising Coordinator by day, SeamlessWeb enthusiast by night

SeamlessWeb User Since: Fall 2007

Where Do You Use SW? Home, Work, and Mobile (I suggest ordering from the mobile app at night; friends are always grateful when I order from the cab and have pizza waiting at the apartment for us after a night out)

Favorite Kind of Food: Wedges with Sour Cream and Sweet Chili – This is all I ate when I was studying abroad in Australia. If anyone knows of a restaurant on SeamlessWeb that serves them I would be forever grateful. (Ed: I’m not sure about Seamless, but offline, you can check out The Australian in Midtown.)

Least Favorite Kind of Food: Clams or Mushrooms – They scare me. (Ed: So you wouldn’t want to have slices of this on your pizza?)

Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? I always order Chicken and Broccoli with Wonton Soup from Chopsticks House and I love the Rock ‘N Roll from Aji (it tastes like chicken fingers). I am also a huge fan of Chop’t. My friend just introduced me to their online ordering website and I am addicted. But since you guys designed the site, I’m not a SeamlessWeb traitor!

Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? When the place is so loud that you have to repeat your order 10 times, including your credit card info! That and I’m lazy.

Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? While I was in Australia, I starred in a YouTube video that involved me impersonating a kangaroo. It had huge ratings…amongst my friends.

Favorite Celebrity Chef? Jacques Leonardi from Jacques-Imo’s in New Orleans. He is a celebrity in NOLA and makes the best cornbread in the world.

Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? I’ll give you three: Ducktales, Captain Planet, and Doug. I always wanted to be Patty Mayonnaise. (Ed: I always wanted to be Scrooge McDuck.)

Plans for Tonight? I will be on a plane en route to Italy for vacation with my family!
