Where Do You Use SW? At home from my couch, or my bed, or my rocking chair. I have a laptop, so I can really use it anywhere in my apartment that I can sit, which is nice. (Ed: You can also order anywhere period if you have a BlackBerry/iPhone.)
Favorite Kind of Food: Any Italian food is good to me. There is no such thing as bad Italian food in my mind. I wouldn’t say that I’ve ever taken food out of the dumpster of an Italian restaurant, but I also wouldn’t say that Nino’s on 46th street throws away bad food.
Least Favorite Kind of Food: Not a type, but I don’t like bland stuff or really gross-looking food. Anything that looks like cat food should be fed to a cat, or a really, really hungry person.
Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW: La Vela, Fusia, Water Moon, Fred’s
Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? Well, hate is a strong word, but…I hate when they have to repeat back your order for accuracy, and still don’t get it right. I hate how difficult it is to pay with a credit card. I hate having to remember to keep cash on hand to pay. I hate having to rummage through a pile of dirty menus to find the place I want. I’ll stop before this sounds like that sad speech from 10 Thing I Hate About You.
Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? Sometimes I get tagged in Facebook photos. Also, my friend Elliott had a blog for a few days and mentioned my name several times, so that made me feel good.
Favorite Celebrity Chef? Actually a tie: Giada De Laurentiis and Alton Brown.
Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I wanted to be Raphael, then I grew up and realized I wasn’t a turtle…
Plans for Tonight? I will be watching the hockey playoffs (I think I’m the last remaining fan of the NHL) and ordering food from SeamlessWeb. Do I get my free food coupons now?
