SeamlessWebber of the Week: Ricky

Every Thursday, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us all about how he or she orders from the site. If you pay close attention here you just might learn something. This week we have Ricky, a gallery worker who likes his food fried and his coffee Colombian.

SeamlessWebber of the Week - Ricky

Name: Ricky

Age: 26

Occupation: Art gallery loafer, sometimes worker

How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? I tried other online food ordering websites, but when a former co-worker enlightened me to the wonder that is SeamlessWeb, I never looked back.

Where Do You Use SW? At the office, at home, any place where I have an address, a computer (Ed: Or a phone.) and real hunger.

Favorite Kind of Food: Everything fried and any combination of cheese, chicken, bread…oh, and milk shakes.

Least Favorite Kind of Food: Fruits and vegetables; basically anything that looks like how it came out of the ground.

Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? Jackson Hole: Depending on the day, I’ll get chicken fingers from the 91st street location or a burger and fries from 83rd street. They only serve Pepsi, though, so it’s a downer on that front. (Ed: DC for life.)

Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? Having to speak to strangers. In fact, my favorite part about SeamlessWeb is that my friend Sarah can just go onto my account and order lunch for me every day and I don’t have to worry about it.

Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? Perez Hilton tried to Larry Craig me in the bathroom at Misshapes.

Favorite Celebrity Chef? Guy Fieri, even after he sold out to TGI Friday’s.

Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? I used to watch a lot of Smurfs. (Ed: That’s back to back Smurfs lovers…)

What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? Laser vision that could make a whole chicken extra-crispy in three minutes flat. (Ed: I just had an image of this and I know that you wish you had said three seconds flat. Imagine training your eyes on a whole chicken for three minutes straight without being able to eat it. Come on, try it. It’s impossible.)

In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? 100% pure Colombian…coffee. Is it still late if it’s two days later?

Plans for Tonight? See previous answer.
