Today’s Order: Best of 2009

It’s a difficult and delicious job, but someone’s gotta do it.

AnnMarie and I have ordered from a lot of SeamlessWeb restaurants this year, sampling cuisines from around the world and around midtown. The result? Lots of jealous stares from co-workers and the discovery of some new and wonderful lunches. Today we’d like to share with you six of our favorite meals of the year in chronological order:

  • Hill Country: They call it Texas toast for a reason (March 19, 2009)
  • Pera: I’ll never look at lamb the same way again (June 5, 2009)
  • FreeFoods NYC: AnnMarie’s favorite sandwich of the year? (July 2, 2009)
  • Crisp: Apparently vegetarian food CAN taste amazing! (August 7, 2009)
  • Pampano Taqueria: Great tacos are worth the walk (October 9, 2009)
  • Ethos: What’s Greek for “They should always offer this prix-fixe!”? (October 30, 2009)

We’re looking forward to an equally impressive 2010, so please give us suggestions for restaurants and dishes to try in the comments!
