Every Thursday, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us about how he or she orders from the site. This week, veritable SeamlessWeb prodigy Joseph tells us his SeamlessWeb story:

Name: Joseph (@JosephTeegardin)
Age: 24
Occupation: Technology Support Specialist at The Chapin School
How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? I had just moved into a new building in the Financial District and I remember seeing the logo somewhere and checking out the site. “Brilliant!” I remarked. Looking at my SW history, my first order was at Wing Spot, where I ordered 1 fried chicken leg, 20 wings, and seasoned fries. God, I hope that wasn’t all for me. (Ed: You never forget your first time.)
Where Do You Use SW? I use SeamlessWeb at home, at work, and thanks to SW’s mobile site, also from the street, cabs, boats, and even when restaurant visits go sour. By SW’s account, I’m at 337 orders since 9/1/2005, totaling $4999.81. (Now where’s my iPhone app, SW?) (Ed: That’s quite an impressive order tally and you won’t have to wait much longer for that iPhone app. We’re getting closer and there should be an update on the blog next week.)
Favorite Kind of Food: Mexican. I could eat it every day, for every meal, for the rest of my life if not for its typical adverse effects on your health. (Ed: I feel the same way about Momofuku pork buns with egg.)
Least Favorite Kind of Food: Fake meat dishes with quotation marks, i.e. Grilled “Chicken” Teriyaki. (Ed: I actually think these dishes get a bad rap. Yes, most of them are gross, but at the right place…)
Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? Meze Grill. Hands down, it’s one of the best new places in the city. I just moved so, sadly, they are no longer in my delivery range.
Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? No post-order email confirmations.
Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? Twitter conversation with Jimmy Fallon.
Favorite Celebrity Chef? Gordon Ramsay. I can’t tell you how many countless (and ultimately worthless) hours I spent watching Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen. He might come off as a jerk to some, but it’s really just his passion shining through.
Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? The one, the only…“Doug”
What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? Mind control. With mind control you could have anything and everything you’d want, like a private jet, a loft in SoHo, and ownership of SeamlessWeb. (Ed: Flattering to see that we made the cut here.)
In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? I don’t think it gets any later, or better, than just straight up staying out all night with friends, for no reason at all.
Plans for Tonight? After ordering some average BBQ from SW last week, I’ve still had a hankering for some really awesome BBQ, so tonight the lovely Katie Kester and I are headed to Rub BBQ to sample some of their ribs. Oh, and bacon chocolate chip cookies? Yes, please. (Ed: Have you tried Hill Country or Wildwood BBQ from SW?)
